High Speed Self Propelled Accident Relief Train (HS SPART) is a three car utility vehicle that has
built by M/s Integral Coach Factory for the Indian Railways , to facilitate rescue, relief and restoration work during the railway accidents.
This equipment has a power pack designed and manufactured by SAN. One set of diesel hydraulic under slung power pack is installed in the supervisory van and also in the tool van. These under slung power packs free up the overboard floor space for housing supervisory staff and to carry auxiliary equipments. These power packs provide traction power to run the three car unit HS SPART at high speeds up to 120kmph.
